Krynica-Zdrój, situated in a picturesque Kryniczanka valley is called the pearl of Polish spas. The spa park has numerous walking paths and ponds and pollution-free air with immunogenicity and bactericidal essential oils. Many attractions also for active holiday makers such as skiing tracks, ice rink, tennis courts, swimming pools, biking and hiking trails and rich cultural offer.
In addition to the undisputed tourist assets, Krynica-Zdrój also offers many cultural attractions. Concerts are very important part of the rich calendar of events. The International Guitar Festival and the Festival of Song and Aria of Jan Kiepura are very popular. The Promenade concert, which takes place during the festival, attracts about 20,000 listeners.
Krynica-Zdroj
Jaworzyna Krynicka (1114 m) – there is a hiking route and a gondola cable car to the top.
Parkowa mountain – surrounded by spa park with numerous walking paths, garden houses and three ponds, at the top (which you can reach by railway) – Paradise Slides and a great view of the surrounding area. Numerous mineral waters pump rooms.
European Festival of Jan Kiepura (August) – one of the biggest summer music festivals.
Dukla History Museum – a beautiful palace and a park complex. The most important collection is the collection of weapons and military equipment from the time world war I and II.
Muszyna
Mineral water pump rooms – one of the biggest attractions in Muszyna (free use of the public mineral water pump room).
Feast of Mineral Water (August) – it is an opportunity to taste mineral waters of the region. The event is accompanied by concerts, cabarets and other attractions.
Wierchomla Mała – the longest chairlift in Poland (1600 m), open most of the year.
Piwniczna-Zdrój
Poprad Valley rafting – during the runoff you can enjoy the scenic views and watch the flora and fauna of the surrounding area.
Powroźnik
Orthodox Church – with beautifully painted walls of the sacristy, the iconostasis of the eighteenth century and ornamented icons from the sixteenth century. Similar objects in the following towns: Dubne, Milik, Leluchow, Jastrzębik, Złockie, Szczawnik, Żegiestów.
